Amritsar
I am not alone in pushing myself for a travel - driving down a road. The Almighty too, supports my itch by offering me random opportunities. This time it was in the homeland of The Happy -Go-Lucky folks of Punjab. The initial plan was to visit Tri-City, to tie some loose ends and then get back to Delhi. But we finished our errands in quick time, as such the temptation to meet friends at Sangrur was too strong to be resisted. A couple of happy days at Sangrur, made Amritsar look next door. Thanks to The Almighty, we managed a couple of days at Amritsar - though they were busy days. Driving through Punjab is not like ' Rocky Mountain Blue Road', but still, driving through green fields has its own charm (hate to say, some of them were smoking). One rarely gets a chance to criticize the road, they are well maintained.
